Description
The ROTIX – 3-Axis Nozzle Scannerfacilitates semi-automated inspection of nozzle welds, with the available encoding of the probe skew angle. Featuring a specialized long-stroke probe holder, the nozzle scanner employs a chain system for stable inspection on both ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. The scanner is also capable of limited clearance inspection, requiring just 12.7 cm (5.0 in) between the vessel and flange.

ENCODED SKEW VERTICAL PROBE HOLDER
An inventive probe holder offering 12.2 cm (4.8 in) of vertical travel as well as an encoded skew measurement. As the probe travels around a weld, constant probe contact with the scan surface is maintained thanks to this unique vertical probe holder. Which also features an encoded skew which measures the degrees in which the probe has been rotated horizontally.
